Novasure Endometrial Ablation

The procedure is an effective solution for women who suffer from heavy and/or prolonged menstrual periods. The condition, scientifically known as memorrhagia, affects one in five women. Novasure does not replace birth control as a means of contraception.
How It Works:
The Novasure procedure mitigates and eliminates excessive bleeding through a safe and delicate removal of the endometrial lining of the uterus. The procedures takes less than five minutes, requires no incisions, and involves little to no recovery time. Nine out of ten women report improved bleeding after the procedure.
Patient Requirements:
Endometrial ablation is only appropriate for pre-menopausal women with excessive menstrual bleeding attributable to benign causes. Prospective patients should have completed childbearing.
