Microneedling with PRP
You may have heard of PRP, but what exactly is it? Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is an autologous concentrated preparation of platelets and the associated growth factors in a small volume of plasma. Platelets are a natural source of a number of growth factors in their natural and biologically-determined ratios. PRP is used in several different types of treatments. When it comes to microneedling with PRP, we offer the very popular Vampire Facial procedure. This Medical Spa facial is performed using a specific technique for microneedling, followed by application of PRP. Because the platelets contain high levels of growth factors – which stimulate cell turnover – the application helps our skin function optimally, increasing everything from collagen to elastin, while also bringing antioxidant and hydrating properties.
We also offer the SkinPen® by Bellus Medical. The SkinPen is the first microneedling device in the world cleared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), clinically proven to safely and effectively treat facial acne scars for ages 22 and up. With as few as three treatments spaced 30 days apart, patients can improve their appearance and step out with confidence. Due to their non-invasive nature, these Medical Spa facial sessions usually require little downtime, which is perfect for the person on-the-go.
Botox and Fillers
The popularity of Botox and fillers cannot be denied. Deemed safe and effective, we are currently offering 2 new neurotoxins, Jeuveau and Dysport. These Medical Spa treatments provide a much softer and more natural appearance than Botox. These non-invasive treatments have such little downtime that you can have them done on your lunch break and head right back to work afterward!
